Has a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and graduated with honors and distinction. While obtaining her Master’s Degree, Lisa interned at A Woman's Place Ministries, which is a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Tampa, FL. While at AWPM, she counseled women, life coached, and led educational parenting groups. Lisa has a deep desire to help people overcome obstacles, hardships, relationship issues, and times of crisis in their lives. She feels that God has called her to this ministry, and wants to help people by showing them compassion, understanding, and encouragement during tough times. She believes that by helping people build skills, listening to them, and giving them hope, people can see their full potential, develop healthier self-images and relationships with others. Lisa specializes in helping children and teenagers. She also works with young adults, men, and women overcome the difficult challenges in their lives. Specialty areas include but are not limited to; grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship problems, parenting skills, and family conflicts.
Lisa believes that all people can benefit from counseling and can find hope and a better future. Her favorite scripture is: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
